White Sox RHP Gavin Floyd was sent to the Disabled list because of forearm tendonitis but in his place Philip Humber has been reactivated and will start tonight against the Red Sox. Humber has struggled since pitching his perfect game on April 21 but you would have had to imagined that he was dealing with injury during that time.
Humbers struggles often were the result of an inability of his breaking ball moving. Floyd went to the DL on a hot streak allowing only 4 runs in his past four starts those runs came on only one game against the Yankees.
Floyd was supposed to be your own healthy starter you could count on for the whole year with Peavy having an injury track record and Chris Sale has never pitched this many innings before.
With all of these injuries I can almost garrentee you the GM Kenny williams will make a deal for a starter possibly a dempster of a Grienkie, some one of that caliber. Grienkie has been on the Sox radar lately and is the biggest starter on the market behind Cole Hamels.
