White Sox have won there 8th straight game by a final score of 4-3. White Sox Starting pitcher Jose Quantina was ejected after throwing behind Ben Zobrist. Ventura was also ejected. Cleveland loss to Kansas City again today which will put the Sox 1.5 games up in first.
With the Sox this hot no team will want to face them, Seattle comes to town after tomorrow’s off day.
Then Toronto will visit the South Siders and inter-league play begins. The Sox will play The Astros, Cardinals, Dodgers, Cubs, and Brewers in that order.
The Sox have always beaten up on NL teams over the past few years so its reckon to be a good month for the Sox in June.
Its looking very good for the Sox at this point in the Season. You can’t really call it early anymore as it’s basically June.
I’m sure it will only be so long before GM Kenny Williams makes a move for an arm or an upgrade at 3rd base. It seems like he is just itching to deal.
With this much success heading the Sox way, I’m sure that owner Jerry Reinsdorf will give the front office what they need for a championship-caliber team.
